Jessica often speaks specifically about the impact of bias and preventable medical errors on the lives of patients, families, and providers.  They are a former executive leader with 20+ years in healthcare who survived preventable medical errors and experienced adverse outcomes due to provider bias. Jessica also speaks about their brother, David, who was killed by a preventable medical error in 2018.
